I love this piece because it is something I struggle with myself. We want to hear perspectives outside of our echo chamber, but does that mean we need to subject ourselves and our loved ones to offensive and insensitive things?

Ironically, the conservative movement is the one cancelling people across the board for being gay, trans, or insufficiently sycophantic to the American flag. Most of them are obsessed with defending their side of the culture war and have little interest in substantive debate.
