Great piece Kate. I agree that the younger generation no longer feels bound to their cubicle, their boss, and their company. We are all rethinking the concept of work, which gives employees the bargaining power.

This awakening is long overdue. Up until 2020, the average American labored the same number of hours as they did in 1950, despite productivity per worker increasing fivefold. Young people aren’t buying that we all need to put in 5 days per week for an insincere employer to keep the economy alive.
